Our History

Although the Ascertiva name was launched in 2010, its brands have a long illustrious history.

NICEIC was formed as a charity in 1956 in response to concerns regarding electrical safety in the home.

In 2006 the charity renamed itself the Electrical Safety Council and NICEIC Group was formed as the trading subsidiary.

In 2009 it was decided to rename the Group as part of a new strategy which reflected the company's aims and vision for its future.
