We’re committed to supporting the learning and development of all employees to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to achieve their objectives.

Performance Development Plans

Learning and development is assessed as part of the annual Performance Development Review process, giving you the opportunity to discuss ways in which

you can increase your knowledge and skills through either formal or informal training.  As part of this process, you’ll be given your own Personal Development Plan to help you to develop your knowledge and progress your career.

Formal qualifications

Where appropriate, we may be able to provide financial support to help you study towards a relevant formal qualification that’s related to your role.  Requests for time off for training are also given careful consideration.

Talent Development Programme

Personal development is encouraged for everyone across the Group, and the Talent Development Programme is just one of the initiatives taken to support individual learning and development.

The Talent Development Programme is an in house programme which has been designed to develop and enhance essential business skills for our employees.  The programme was introduced to make sure we have the appropriate skills in place across the business, with a view to retaining and developing people for the future. 

The programme covers areas such as customer excellence, communication, project management, and leading and managing change.

Secondments

Secondment opportunities are advertised internally to give everyone the chance to gain valuable experience of working in other areas of the Ascertiva Group.
