Ann Robinson, Chair
Ann is currently Director of Consumer Policy at uSwitch.com, the independent price comparison and switching service. She is also a lay member of the General Medical Council - roles which are both concerned with consumer interest and public protection. Ann Robinson joined Ascertiva Group from her previous role as Executive Chair at energywatch - the gas and electricity consumer watchdog which she launched in 2000. She brings a wealth of experience to the role.
Ann is a former Director General of the British Retail Consortium and Chief Executive of Scope. Previously she was Director of Policy and Planning and Deputy Chief Executive of the Social Security Benefits Agency. She is also a former chair of Victim Support London.
Emma Clancy, Chief Executive Officer
Emma joined Ascertiva Group in 2005 and has held the position of Director of Charitable Affairs and HR Director. She is a graduate member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and, prior to joining the Group, held senior roles in a variety of blue-chip and not-for-profit organisations including Marks and Spencer, The Royal Bank of Scotland Group and Which? magazine.
Emma led the formation of Ascertiva Group's training business and launched The Electrical Safety Council in 2006 and is a Board Member of ABCB, the Association of British Certification Bodies.
